"Pros: Spacious apartment with a very well equipped kitchen, walking distance of Alexander Platz. Responsive host that was easy to reach, even on a Friday night. We initially got an apartment that was quite different from what we had booked (4 separate beds, no couch, instead of a large double bed with a couch). They switched us to a different room the next morning, which all went very smoothly. Good service, and the 'new' room was exactly as described on Booking. Cons: The sofa beds were quite uncomfortable when used a a couch - which was our situation. Also, make sure to ask on which side of the building the exact apartment you get is located. On the outer side there is an extremely noisy tram line that runs from early in the morning till late at night. Really not possible to sleep with the windows open unless you wear ear plugs. The rooms on the courtyard-side are quiet, but sometimes smoke wafts in when people are sitting outside with their cigarettes." ~Paulien
