"Pros: Breakfast was not supplied. The home has a complete kitchen, including a dishwasher. The location for those wanting to be away from a busy, noisy city was perfect, in a rural village of approx. 200 inhabitants. There were great paved walking paths near the home. A bus stop is located directly across from the home, but I would recommend having a rental car to get around. Blankenrath is a nearby town with a grocery store and other small city amenities. It is a 2km driving distance, but can also be reached by foot or bicycle. There is a relatively short drive (Approx. 30 minutes) to the Mosel Valley with lots of wineries, and shopping along the Mosel River Cons: A few of the roll shutters in the home were inoperable at the time of our visit. These were reported to the owner of the house who was extremely nice and accommodating. An electric recliner chair in the living room was not operating correctly, and the homeowner also made note of the fact that it required his attention. Of note, the home did not have a washer/dryer which was merely an inconvenience. Overall, this house made for a very comfortable week-long visit for our party of 5. I definitely would stay there again should I come back to the region." ~Barbara
