"Pros: The host and hostess were so kind and helpful. They greeted me warmly, made myself and my dog feel most welcome and my dog soon learned that stopping at the kitchen door at the bottom of the stairs got him a treat every time! The restaurant in the garden was very welcoming and nice to relax in at the end of a hot day in Cochem and the surrounding area. The town is just adorable. I felt like I traveled back in time 400 years. I couldn't stop taking pictures and it's proximity to Cochem was wonderful but allowed me to be away from the busy tourism of Cochem itself. I took a boat ride to the castle city and then it dropped me off right in Bruttig on the way back. The breakfast was very good and filling, excellent coffee. My room was comfortable and well appointed. I can't wait to come back.
