"Pros: The location was lovely, the host was really nice, showing us around and even gave us tips for traveling and sightseeing. There was also a lift up to the apartment, which was a real blessing with 2 heavy luggage. Things required for cooking were all provided and the apartment is near a supermarket as well. It was walking distance to most attractions and easy to get around! Cons: The cleanliness in the kitchen could be greatly improved especially in the food section. There were opened packets of flour, spaghetti which were left open without proper storage. The jug used to store water was also not poured away after the use of the previous traveller which left algae and the interior of the kettle was also slightly rusty. Aside from these, the rest can be washed and used." ~Siew

"Pros: The apartment had great space and was well appointed. The bedroom was spacious with a comfortable bed. There were extra pillows and blankets if needed. The bathroom was excellent, and the shower pressure was good. I loved the deep bath which was lovely after a long hike to the Partnachklamm Gorge. The kitchen was excellent and had a dishwasher which was great at the end of the day. The owners are very friendly and promptly met us knowing we were coming from the train station to take us to the apartment. I would definitely recommend this accommodation. Cons: The only small issue we had was that I was not aware that I would have to pay in cash for the apartment. Booking.com told me I would be charged for half the payment a fortnight before arriving and so was not expecting to have cash. Luckily the owner was organised and made me aware several days before my arrival as I would have struggled to pay in Garmisch-Partenkirchen with exchanging of money. It would have been helpful to know this and for the information to be clear when making the booking." ~Kass

"Pros: Location is great, good value, good breakfast, stylish reception area and bar. Room was clean with a fabulous view of the mountains. Cons: Only downside was the pillows on the bed, which squash as flat as a tissue as soon as you put your head down. Even with two or three stacked it's still not comfortable." ~Adam

"Pros: We loved the little kitchen, the location so close to the train station and tourist information, and the view from our window. Whenever we contacted the host we were answered right away. The skylights in the kitchen were especially nice for light and air flow, even on a rainy day. We liked the bus pass for visitors which was good for a wide area. Cons: I was expecting a bedroom plus a sofa bed- I should have studied the booking site better. The sofa bed was actually very comfortable with a lovely view of a mountain out the window. More importantly, the booking site clearly says, "each unit comes with... a washing machine...". We arrived to find out that a shared washing machine was in the basement and required coins to operate. In addition, there was no apparent way to open the wash machine door. Luckily, another renter showed me a lever in an odd location on the unit, used to open the machine door. She said she only knew how because her mother had such a wash machine. Sharing one machine in the basement meant many trips up and down two flights of stairs with my laundry, since I did not wish to leave my laundry unattended, and the machine was being used already. There was a dryer in the basement, which I had not expected, but it did not dry the clothes very well and took a long time. Once again requiring many trips more to the basement. One detail- there was ONE roll of toilet paper provide for two people for a week's stay! Also, we were instructed to sort our trash into bins at the curb, but it was unclear which to use for what, and no extra bags for trash were provided. Also, when we went to pay the balance of our bill, we had a WIFI charge added unexpectedly." ~Terry
