The apartment has a separate entrance and there are public parking spaces directly in front of the house. The directly adjacent recreational area around the Struckdieksau has many meadows, trees and dirt roads and is a good place to go walking, cycling or jogging. Supermarkets, doctors, restaurants or other shops can be reached in 10-20 minutes on foot or in a few minutes by car. Kiel city centre can be reached in just 13 minutes by bus. The CITTI-Park is within walking distance. The hosts can happily offer tips on day-trip excursions in and around Kiel, which include the beaches on the east and west bank of the Kiel Fjord, as well as on the Baltic Sea.
