"Pros: The stay at Villa ORIZONTES was a real pleasure! Our hosts managed to make us feel wonderful! They waited for us with homemade carrot cake, a basket of vegetables from the property's garden (which they refreshed every morning) , cretan olive oil, honey and wine! The property has a beautiful garden and the outdoor spaces are very well designed to enjoy the sun, sea views but also shade if you wish.The daily cleaning was impeccable! Thank you Roseta! The property is close to the beach (5 min by car ) Adelianos Kampos , as well the lovely town of Retimno." ~Ioana

"Pros: The pool and facilities were great, although the pool went green on our last day and we had problems on a few nights with no lighting, our host Elena came out twice to get them back on. Cons: The lack of showers and no plug for the bath so it made it tricky with 8 of us needing showers with only two working. The Villa is situated up a hill which was off road and every taxi driver complained to us about going up there as they didn’t want to ruin their car or get it dirty, we had to be dropped off at the bottom on several occasions which was a good 10-15mins walk up on unsteady road in the heat with children. This was quite frustrating. It was 25-30 mins to shops, bars, restaurants, so we either braved the walk or ordered taxis and had to put up with them being unhappy about the off road, we also hired a car for a few days, be prepared to have to spent a small fortune if you want to get out of the Villa." ~Andrew
