"Pros: Villa Alimedon was everything we hoped it would be and more. We had a fantastic stay. The pool and outside area is very nice and neat, and we enjoyed playing in the pool and relaxing on the sunbeds. Perfekt for the kids. The house is plenty big and has lots of places to sit outdoors on balconies and terraces. Our eldest moved into the appartment on the second flor so he got the space and privacy a teenager craves, while our youngest had her own room next to the grown-ups. The house was clean and nice and we found all we needed in the kitchen and elsewhere. Plenty of towels for the bathroom and beach. The host was very welcoming and came by during the week to keep the pool and also to clean the house halfway through our stay. The beach and restaurants are only a short walk from the house. The beach is not big, but very nice, and not too crowded. We always found a good spot. Lots of restaurants with the variation you would expect to find in a small Greek holiday town. We found nice activities in the area. A boat trip with snorkeling and trip to Lake Kournas was very fun. The bigger cities Chania and Rethymno is also not too far away, we liked the latter best. Villa Alimedon is a great place to stay and both the Villa and host will meet your expectations and more. Highly recommended!" ~Arne
