"Pros: An amazing villa with a fireplace and steps out the door down to a beautiful swimming spot. It was only two of us staying but was a large property and would comfortably fit 1-2 families. We loved the large well equipped kitchen and balcony with views across the water. We visited in winter and had one sunny day and were able to go for a quick dip which was beautiful (bring water sandals for the sea urchins). Cons: We stayed in winter so it was quite cold in the bedrooms and the hot water is solar powered so with the rainy days we were there that was a bit of a problem. This didn’t bother us but for a longer stay in the colder season you should be mindful of that." ~Alice

"Pros: We loved everything about our stay at the Mitzela Mare House. The village is very charming and beautiful, the people are really kind, the hosts were very hospitable and willing to help with everything you need. They were very responsive and even left us welcome gifts which were typical for Amaliopoli. 😊The house is very cosy, clean and beautiful, and they have paid great attention to detail to everything- the furniture, the kitchen dinnerware, the accessories. The location is very good as the house is located right in the center of the village and on 5 minutes walk distance there are two shops and restaurants (the food in both restaurants is great), the beach is also on 5 minutes walk distance and there are two beach bars which provide sun beds and umbrellas on the beach. The hosts also provide sun-beds which can be used on the sea alley right across the house. If you are looking for a restful holiday in a cosy, quiet place in a scenic, charming Greek village, Amaliopoli is your village and Mitzela Mare is the perfect house for you!" ~Kalina
