"Pros: We had the best time in this gorgeous villa and particularly enjoyed the lovely pool and outdoor areas. It was very well equipped, especially the kitchen area. It was very spacious, clean and modern. We would definitely recommend this villa to stay in, we were a group of 4 and everything was perfect for us. One thing i’d recommend is to rent a car, although we did not and still managed to get around using bus and taxi’s but if we were to come back we would rent a car for convenience as it gives you more freedom to explore further.
Rethymno old town is amazing and we went there for dinner most nights, but there is a few restaurants in pigi, the local town, which is only 5 min walk away. I recommend the Leaky Caldron in Pigi also. In rethymno there is a beach club called Baja beach where we spent a full day and it was definitely worth the money we had a lovely time and it split the holiday up a bit for us. We also spent a day at Lake Kournas which is one thing I recommend the MOST out of everything we did. We spent the whole day there, it was €80 for a return taxi which we booked with ‘All around crete transfers’ on their website. We rented a pedalo boat with a slide for €20 for an hour, then paid an extra €15 for another hour on the lake as we enjoyed it so much. We saw turtles and lots of fish and swam in the lake, then had some lunch in a taverna overlooking the beautiful lake. After lunch we went and looked in all the little shops which had lots of souvenirs.
All in all it was the best holiday in crete and the location of the villa was perfect, but we would rent a car if we were to come back! Thank you to Ismini for having us in your beautiful villa🤍

Modern Family Villa Leba With Private Pool & Bbq

"Pros: We were the 1st commercial guests at this villa ( we think the owner has allowed family and friends earlier this year).Everything about this villa is exceptional. The layout, quality, location, size, design ….are all extremely good. It’s hard to review, as everything was so “top notch”……Everything is high quality and well designed ….from the Sonos sound system in every room ( plus a tv with Netflix etc) to the outdoor kitchen with full BBQ and an electric grill. The pool is beautiful, the gardens outstanding ( including the seating area in shade in the surroundings of the plants and flowers). Upstairs, outside the main bedroom, there is a fabulous covered seating area where we sat and played card games and drank, late at night. It is covered by a wind sail, so sitting there in the daytime is a good place to get some relief from the sun.
We arrived after 1am due to our flights and Menios was there waiting for us. We had ordered food online for delivery and he had taken the delivery and all the food was already in the cupboards/fridge. He showed us around, talked us through how to operate everything, made sure we were settled then left us to get to bed. He messaged to make sure everything was ok and asked if we needed anything regularly.
If I try really hard to find some balance to this review, then it’s location means you will need a car / motorbike. It is too far to any meaningful town to walk, but that just means it is so quiet and peaceful.
We loved this villa ….in every way. It’s impossible to mention all of its features as it has so many, but rest assured all that is in the photos, is real.
Cons: To be honest…..nothing.
As it is a new villa and nobody had stayed there and reviewed it, we arrived with a little trepidation as to what it might really be like….did it even exist ( on Google earth it’s an olive field !)."
