"Pros: On the positive side the apartment was spacious, the balcony area was quite private, the location of the apartment was great, and our host Theo was superb and deserves praise - helping us with suggestions of where to visit, where to eat, and always willing to help organising taxis etc.. Cons: The property was advertised on booking.com so we assumed it was a serviced self-catering apartment as we have always had in Greece, however it turned out to be a AirBnB scenario - i.e. you're on your own. This was not clear when we booked. It didn't matter overall though. We also had big problems for the first 3 days with the toilet flush - it was old and brittle and snapped on the first day, the whole cistern got replaced, but it was adjusted wrong and failed to refill. After three visits in the end it was left working but installed completely wonky but got us through the rest of our stay. The set-up at the apartment was strange with the kitchen in the main bedroom, and the noise of the fridge compressor kicking in during the night was occasionally disturbing, and the fridge was not working cold enough until we turned down the stat in the freezer, and we had to plan ahead if we wanted cold drinks." ~Graham
