"Pros: Spent a week in Perland Vacation, seven of us in the house for a large birthday celebration. Anna and Chris were perfect hosts. House was very affordable in comparison to 4x separate apartments. Best mattresses we have had in 5+ visits to Greece, pool clean, other guests great and friendly. No issues with getting sunbeds, nightly noise etc. Aircon great, enough kitchen utilities for snacks, salads, toasted sandwiches etc. Used the on-site bar for snacks few times, and late night drinks all was good. Stayed one night for the BBQ and music and was enjoyed by all. Location perfect, close to beach and bars etc. but far enough away from the noise and main hustle and bustle. Left at the supermarket for some good nice restaurants and quieter evening bars and go right if looking for more of a party night. Everyone's catered for. We rented an 8x seater van to travel round the island and could park on-site. Others mentioned kitchen not having microwave, jugs, mash potato utensils etc.... , unless you have a baby. We had no need to turn the cooker on. Not sure why you would want to cook main meals on holiday anyway when there's dozens of affordable restaurants, bars and supermarkets all within 5x mins away? - go support local businesses. Would happily recommend, the accommodation is just a base I'm not looking to buy the place, as long as its safe, comfortable, clean then we are happy. Cons: Nothing negative, just justification for what others mentioned as when we read reviews this made us skeptical. There was no need to worry: Stairs to top of house can be a little sketchy but take your time and come down backwards! Others have mentioned having nets across doorways rather than upstairs doors, never bothered any of our party and allowed upper part of house to be temperature controlled with air-con, and the smell from the downstairs shower only occurs when using the kitchen sink for some reason, probably the way the drainage flows. Someone mentioned about the windows in the shower opening too wide?!? surely just pull/close the window while in the shower, or don't your on holiday after all ;-) Someone mentioned lack of storage on lower floors, there's enough space to hang shirts and dresses just not unpack an entire 25kg case each for the whole family! As for mosquitos and wasps, unfortunately there are everywhere on the island. Again none of the above would stop us going and hopefully puts people minds at rest somewhat!" ~Stephen
