"Pros: Captain Tom was very hospitable, gave us a very good upgrade and some of his olive oil made from his trees on the property. We were only able to stay for a few hours due to having to check out of our previous apartment but would return as it would be a great location for a relaxing beach holiday Cons: The weather(gale force winds) but that’s not Captain Toms fault" ~Steven

"Pros: Frangokastello is very special. Every summer in Crete, we spend a few days there, no exceptions. The village is simple, nothing fancy compared to the much more popular spots on the island. For restful holidays, there is no better place though. Ledakis House is the best place we stayed at in Frangokastello in the last few years. The hosts are a great family that would do everything to keep us happy. It's within walking distance to our favorite places, Orthi Amos beach and taverna Akti. With luck we will return next year too. Cons: Winds in the south can get quite strong and loud. Nothing to do with the house, it's just how it is." ~Cosmin
