"Pros: I left Rethymno after only one night when I had paid for 7 because it was fast paced, loud and was not what I had in mind in order to rest and recharge, which was my intent for this trip. I had secured another rental in Chania and was heading that way when the host told me I wouldn't be able to get in until late. So, I found this charming family home in Georgioupolis I reserved for the night, so I could rest before heading to Chania. Getting closer to the house, I was finally able to catch my first, of many deep breaths! This place, this town the people are what I needed all along. I ended up staying 2 nights.
