"Pros: The people were great and the facilities were good. The restaurant was really nice, but beware some of the reconstituted food. For the price, it represents good value for money. Cons: It's not 5* luxury. It's tired and needs updating. The location is a 20min hilly walk to nearest town, with not a lot going on - tacky english pubs and overpriced gift shops.." ~Mary

"Pros: Last full day here at Villa Ma Re & I'm feeling sad to have to leave this place. If you're looking for a relaxing, tranquil place to stay, then this is it! We had everything we needed & the air conditioning was so refreshing after a hot day in the sun. Two or so minute walk to a local supermarket & restaurant. Five minute walk to get to the sea. Lidl isn't far, maybe a five minute drive & Hersonissos (larger town) five minute drive in the other direction. We shared our outdoor space with lovely residents in the cottage beside us & still able to feel a sense of privacy! Hope this helps! Will definitely come back!" ~Emira
