"Pros: We had a truly fantastic family stay at Maria´s Panoramic Seaview villa in Crete and we cannot recommend it highly enough! From the moment we arrived, Maria's incredible hospitality made all the difference. She had generously provided an abundance of food, drinks, and snacks, making us feel immediately welcome. The bathrooms were fully stocked with everything you could possibly need, which was a thoughtful touch. One of the highlights was Maria’s delicious home-cooked dishes and cakes – they were absolutely divine and gave us a true taste of Cretan cuisine. The villa itself was set in the most perfect location, with a stunning pool and beautiful surroundings and sea view that made for a peaceful and relaxing getaway. We spent countless hours lounging by the pool, enjoying the gorgeous setting. While you do need a car to explore the wider area, the small village of Kefalas is just a 15-minute walk away, and we loved dining at the charming local tavernas." ~Simon

"Pros: We spent almost two weeks in Villa Gerrito and it was the best choice possible. The house is really beautiful, spacious and comfortable, it has everything you need starting from kitchen suppliences to the beach gear. There is also an absolutely splendid view, perfect for watching the sunrise. The surrounding is quiet and peaceful (there is almost nobody around but goats :)), but at the same time it is close to the small village with restaurants and shops. On top of that, Hari, the host, is extremely helpful, she made our stay super comfortable (thank you!). We had an amazing time there. P.S. There is a steep driveway, but we had no issues getting in and out of the villa." ~Joanna
