"Pros: We have just come home from a week away at Elxis Luxury Villa's Salty Pools. The Villa was absolutely stunning and the views were amazing. The pool was lovely. The Villa had everything you needed it had a well equipped kitchen. The living space was really comfortable to relax in. Both bedrooms have TV's with Netflix and YouTube. The little extras really made the holiday we were given food on arrival and a box of cakes through the week which was a lovely surprise and treat, Cons: There is simply nothing not to like about the Villa. You do need to hire a car and the Villa is in a very small village around 20 minutes from the beaches." ~Julia

"Pros: We liked the simplicity still smart decoration at farmer's house. The view from the house terrace was overwhelming, the owner's knowledge and expertise about wines (to our surprise he and his brother Antonio's have a maggestic winery, with plantation situated at the hills of Psiloritis a few miles away from farmer's establishment. Kostis offered us a tour at the wine plantation and a selection of wines at the house.. Super!! Cons: There is no single thing that we did not like during our stay at farmer's house . It was a genuine authentic farmer's establishment, clean, tidy, super comfort and the owner Kostis always available still discrete to provide us with suggestions and ideas how to upgrade our stay at Magarikari village enjoy a real, simple agricultural life." ~George

"Pros: This was the most fantastic place we ever stayed in Greece. What a view! And the village was so peacefull, and everyone so kind and helpfull. "Pros: This is not just a vacation property; it’s a home full of love, owned by extraordinary people. We felt truly at home here. It’s not just equipped with everything you need; it’s a lived-in home where you receive the key, and during your stay, you enjoy all the comforts the owners have built for a typical (and wonderful!) Cretan life. The property is vast, with orchards and gardens, palm tree, olive trees, orange trees and the house is not only very functional but also incredibly beautiful! Eleni and Konstantina, thank you for the most wonderful experience we’ve ever had in Crete! Our hosts welcomed us with raki, fresh fruits, homemade pastries, and other delicious treats. For us, the best part was that all of this was accompanied by the presence of a few friendly cats and an adorable dog, which added to the charm of the place without being overwhelming.
