"Pros: The wrap-around balcony overlooking the village and sea was amazing and we loved having a studio with two rooms (also with an amazing balcony), kitchenette and bathroom. Everything was kept clean daily and Manolis, Maria, Nikos and the family really went the extra mile to make sure all guests enjoyed their stay. Someone was always there during breakfast to answer questions and give recommendations for the day so you get the most out of your vacation. You can also book boat excursions through nikosboat.com and it is fun to ask about their boat trips and experiences (we hope to do a boat tour next time). The family is an integral part of tourism and the history of tourism in Diafani and on Karpathos. They are great communicators and deal with guests from many different cultures with ease. Cons: Nothing to report here. If there is a problem, just be sure to communicate it and they will fix it. I actually dropped the showerhead in the shower one evening and the plastic part broke off. I reported it and a new one was installed immediately during the daily cleaning.👍Top. Manolis recommended getting a rental car for the duration of our stay and we came at the end of the season, so please be aware public transportation is extremely limited and it is best to have a rental.
