"Pros: This was our favourite apartment on the whole trip and one of top 3 so far! We absolutely loved the terrace and the view from it. The apartment is very nice, they also clean it every day. "Pros: We really enjoyed our 6 night stay here in September. Whilst we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the hotel/apartments Romantica is very much a tale of two halves. We booked a room in the new, modern section comprising a small number of apartments all named individually after areas on the island. The apartments are stunning, beautifully designed, ultra modern, spotlessly clean and with excellent facilities. We were so grateful we had booked the apartments as the hotel is starting to look a little old and tired in parts. One of the best features of the apartments was the large balcony (which faced east) which we used every morning and evening to enjoy the panoramic views over the Aegean and Agia Pelagia. Our room was spacious, well equipped, had a small kitchenette with a fridge and excellent A/C. It was beautifully designed and decorated with modern furnishings and a super comfy bed. The apartments are also well insulated/sound proofed so you couldn’t hear noise from the neighbouring apartments. We didn't use the pool at the apartments (which is more of a dipping pool) but we sat on the terrace in the evening on our return from the beach to enjoy a G&T and a nice cool Mamos! The apartments have a beautiful outdoor central courtyard and bar area. Unfortunately, the bar had closed the week before we arrived as it was towards the end of the season (mid/late September). The location was also perfect, within walking distance of the town and local restaurants and is a good base from which to access a number of beaches and explore the more remote villages in the north of the island. The ladies on reception were amazing – super helpful, friendly and attentive and they could not do enough to help and please you. For guests with mobility issues they offer a transfer to the apartments by golf cart. For us there was only a small negative which is that apartments join the (much older) hotel which is where breakfast was served." ~Robert
