"Pros: We loved Olea Villas. No one wanted to leave. Our hosts were amazing! Our flight was delayed getting in and restaurants were closed so fresh baked cheese pies were brought to us. The following morning a fresh breakfast pie was delivered too. Our group was 2 families of 5 each. The villas offered enough space for us to be together and to relax independently. The teens loved the pools, hot tubs and PS 5. there is a variety of games and dvds available. For younger guests there are wall mounted baby gates and garden toys. The villas are beautiful and very comfortable. Their setting was gorgeous. The small beach with rocks to jump from and refreshment stall is less than a five minute walk. There are a number of eateries within walking distance. Chania town is less than half an hour drive away and the airport is 20 minutes. Cons: The week went too fast!" ~Lyall

"Pros: we spent 4 weeks in Voula home, for vacation combined with remote working. Hosts , Voula & George, are extremely nice couple , and despite the fact that they don’t speak English, we managed to communicate easily with Google translate :-) The view to the bay is just beautiful, as well to the mountains in the opposite direction. Nice porch in the front , excellent WiFi, laundry machine worked great, beautiful beach 3 minutes walk downhill with an excellent Taverna. Cons: During summertime only, noisy cicadas from sunrise to sunset, but this is typical during summer in all of Crete. We got use to it in a day or two. Closest mini-market is a few minutes drive time so best to have a car Jet fighters from a near airport pass from time to time but we weren’t bothered by it at all" ~Ziv
