Although it was too cold by October to use the pool much, the hot tub more than made up for it and when the sun shone the pool was a lovely dip. Katarina, the owner, is so helpful and well organised. She was very responsive and did everything she could to make our stay enjoyable. The villa is in a good location?- far enough from noise and bustle to make it a very quiet, relaxing place to be, but close to the main road, making it very accessible to both Chania and Rethymno. "Pros: Wonderful views. Stargazing from the 5 seat spa located at a large rooftop terrace accessible by the spacious master bedroom. Privacy - comfortable detached 140 m2 villa nested against a hill top for yourself in the mountains but not isolated at all. Exploring the different affordable traditional restaurants in the nearby villages - only five minutes away. The hiking trails and nearby gorges.
