Cons: The following is useful information for travellers in the region - not criticisms of the hotel at all:
Travellers should be aware and prepared that there have been reliably frequent prolonged power outages in this part of Greece, and guests should proactively optimise preparedness of charging and battery usage of their electronic devices (if any), while the power is on.
Not the issue of the hotel - but on several occasions on my 4 trips to Messologhi this winter, most of the town has been out of power for many hours at a time, at least once per visit. Just something to be aware of.
I would have reserved - if there had been an ultra VIP suite available - an even larger and fully furnished room... but I guess the local market would not reliably sustain such an investment by the Hotel, so I don't complain at all. I took the best room available and would have paid more, for more, if it were possible. :)"
