"Pros: This villa is outstanding and the quality of the finish is superb. The kitchen is very well equipped with a filter water machine providing high quality drinking water, full cooker and hob, microwave, kettle, toaster, panini press plus a mixer and coffee maker just to name a few items. there is indoor and outdoor dining too. Other comforts are a large screen TV plus a high quality reliable WiFi. The bedrooms are very spacious and comfortable. The pool and outdoor areas are wonderful with an outdoor shower too. Stavros is a wonderful host; warm and friendly and goes the extra mile to assist guests. Stavros helpfully provided suggestions for beaches, sites of interest and also restaurants; our favourite was Taverna Veronica which was only 3km away so an easy drive or pleasant walk. The location is brilliant with many local attractions within walking distance including the Honey Museum, the olive oil factory and of course Melidoni Cave. It’s an easy drive to beaches and places of historical interest such as Arkadi monastery or into Rethymno. I highly recommend you visit this wonderful villa; you will not be disappointed. "Pros: A really beautiful, carefully restored Cretan Stone house. Very comfortable, good air conditioning and had everything we needed. Lena and the owners could not have been more welcoming, helpful and hospitable. Really loved the outside areas, lots of space - perfect for being together with friends and family with the BBQ area and big table. Great location right in the heart of Melidoni - a village with a really wonderful community atmosphere, a fantastic taverna (Carob & Olive) and were made to feel very welcome. Melidoni Cave is worth a visit as well as Reptisland, The Honey Museum and the Olive Oil Factory - all in the village. Cons: Not a lot to comment here…we cooked in a fair amount and there were a few basic elements missing such a good chopping knife and a pair of scissors but that was all. "Pros: Amazing Villa in a little village 10 mins from Bali. The place is so spacious and stylish. Everything you need for a restful holiday. The views of the mountains and local village is beautiful. Friendly locals and restaurant and shop 2 mins walk. The hosts were brilliant and very responsive to questions. The rooms were lovely and the pool is brilliant for dipping in and out. 5 star property and would definitely recommend Cons: There was nothing we disliked" ~David
