"Pros: Centrally located with 15 min walk to Heraklion bus station, convenient direct bus from the airport and short bus ride to city centre. The apartment was clean, spacious, well equipped and the host was responsive. The bed was comfortably firm and it was a residential and quiet area with grocery stores within 5 min walk. Cons: The internet connection was tentatively at times but the host reset the router which was outside of the apartment and it was sufficient for Zoom work calls after moving closer to the front door. "Pros: We loved our stay. It is very close to the airport, the port and the city center by bus. We could walk to the port for the ferry to Santorini, a 15 minutes walk. The apartament has everything you need for a perfect stay with children, including a washing machine on the balcony. There are two balconies where you can enjoy your coffee. We communicated very well with the owner. You can find a supermarket near by and a very good taverna as well. Cons: It is very close to the airport and you can hear the airplanes even at night. At first it was disturbing, but we got used to the sound. The whole area is the same, so it isn't something related to the apartament." ~Iulia
