Hotel Makedonia is located in the centre of Ouranoupolis, just 100 metres from the gates of Mount Athos and 60 metres from the nearest beach. Guests enjoy traditional breakfast and a panoramic terrace with view of the sea. Hotel Makedonia’s spacious rooms offer a balcony, some with sea view, central heating, air-conditioning and satellite TV. Free Wi-Fi is available in all hotel rooms. Traditional breakfast, including yoghurt with local biological honey is served at the hotel’s panoramic terrace or at the lounge room. At the reception lounge there is a café with satellite TV. Guests can rent a boat at the reception and explore the surrounding islets and secluded beaches, or rent a car and visit Kassandra and Sithonia. Makedonia Hotel is 150 metres from the pilgrim’s office, serving as an ideal base from which to visit the unique Mount Athos.
