"Pros: Incredibly relaxing location within an olive grove. Sweet accommodation with a nice garden, lawn and outside seating areas. Falling asleep each night to the chorus of cicadas . Voula was brilliant and came in to clean each day. Costas is on hand to answer any queries you might have. We had the swimming pool to ourselves all week. It’s a great base for exploring Eastern Crete. Plentiful wardrobe space, good bathroom & shower. Great for us two but will comfortably hold 5. Excellent parking in a gated area. Palekastro(n) is a good base town a short 3 minute drive from the property and has most amenities you’d want. Plenty of tavernas. Cons: Comfortable and has most things you e weould need for a stay. Needs an update here and there but nothing major, just little issues like bedroom mosquito nets either with gaps they might get through(we didn’t get bitten though), WiFi dropped out regularly inside the building (but was strong on the patio and the in the garden). Bathroom tap was wobbly but worked fine." ~Nigel
