"Pros: The flat is large and very comfortable. The kitchen is fully equipped, the sofas and lazy chairs are wonderful for lounging.The two bathrooms were great as there were 4 of us. The master bedroom is enormous and the bed is amazing. There are also mosquito screens on all doors and windows (always a plus). There's aircon in the living room and fans in the bedrooms. We just kept the bedroom doors open so it wasn't too hot indoors. The landlord was lovely and super discreet and welcomed us with a basket of delicious home-baked goods, cold water and wine. He was very helpful and communicative and accommodated my late checkout request. The location is great for a lazy day at the beach - the sea is about 5 mins away and you can see it from the living room, which I loved. The property is about 20 min drive to Chania, 30 min drive from the airport, and about 40 min drive to Falasarna." ~Nicky

"Pros: The apartment was very clean and comfortable. The air conditioning kept us cool during a heat wave. Cons: Construction is ongoing in the area. It didn’t impact us other than it being not as pleasant of a walk to the beach." ~Courtney

"Pros: Exceptional boutique hotel, designed with care and good taste. Staff were very polite and helpful. The room is very comfortable and clean. The pool is amazing. Wonderful experience overall! Food by the pool was great. Breakfast is delicious and very carefully presented. Amaryllides restaurant next to the hotel is very good value. Cons: Not a criticism of the hotel, but the sea opposite the hotel is not inviting. Hire a car as the location is a little remote." ~Tom
