"Pros: We absolutely loved our stay at Kalimera Village. We were looking for smaller (number of rooms, rather than size of rooms), traditional accommodation in the hope that we would get a more personal and authentic experience. Kalimera was perfect. We stayed with our 2 teenage (tall) children and were in one of the rooms yet to be renovated. It suited us perfectly, it had two bedrooms, two bathrooms and two balconies, it was plenty big enough for us all. It was basic but very clean and had everything we needed. The bedrooms had air-conditioning at no extra cost and the apartment was cleaned every other day. We used the pool on most days and quite often had it to ourselves. We booked for Bed and Breakfast, and each morning the lovely Kosta provided us with a fabulous breakfast, with the bonus of an amazing view overlooking the sea. Kostas and Anna really made a difference to our stay, they were both so welcoming and accommodating. Kalimera is just a short walk from the restaurants and bars of Piskopiano with a large selection of good quality options to choose from. The closest restaurant is about a three-minute walk away (Kostas Taverna - well worth a visit, lovely people and lovely food) and the spa at the bottom of the hill is great for all the basics and lovely fresh salads, rolls and pastries too. We couldn't fault our stay; we loved it and did not want to leave - we hope to come back again one day." ~Claire
