"Pros: We really liked this house, it is well equipped, has a spacious kitchen, two bedrooms and even a large roof terrace. The house is very well located and you can reach everything on foot. The host was very friendly and when we are back in Rethymno, I hope that we can rent the house again. We would be happy to come back again😍"

"Pros: I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this suite. It was late in the year to enjoy the rooftop patio but I did go check out the view. The balcony is super cute. The location in the old town area is perfect. Everything worked in the room and the bed was comfortable. The Wi-Fi cut out and the proprietor responded immediately and fixed the issue. I drove out to the Preveli Gorge while I stayed here I highly recommend it ! The street was very quiet. Parking is a challenge in this area and I had a rental car but I was able to find street parking, mind you it’s December, so not very busy. I would totally stay here again !

"Pros: Let's begin with the two staff members we were honoured to meet during our stay. These two dedicated individuals, Katarina and Jacob, could not be more accommodating or nice. Absolutely wonderful. The location of the hotel was perfect. Right on the edge of the old town, we were right next door to the most amazing restaurant "Ovelos" - we enjoyed it so much so that we dined there two nights in a row. Plus, the old town of Rethymnon is full of great restaurants when the season allows for them to be opened. The location makes for direct involvement with the noise of the neighbourhood, but that simply adds to the charm of staying in a busy, Cretan city. Now the Hotel itself. It has a beautiful aesthetic. Modern with a solid grip on rustic. All in all a stunning place to encounter; however, after seeing the two up stair units, we would be inclined to take either of those for a future visit.
Cons: That modern/rustic aesthetic made for some difficulty getting around the room and using the facilities. We were staying in unit 1 on the ground floor with direct access to a dedicated pool and lounge area. That proved a tight squeeze and the gorgeous tiled floors created uneven spots making the small table far to wobbly to be of use outside resulting in spilled beer. The room, as stunning as it is, is illuminated entirely by floor imbedded up lighting that essentially blinds you when moving anywhere at night. The stairs provided a narrow challenge while accessing the loft and preventing moving any large luggage upstairs with no storage for anything on the first or loft floor. The shower area is open to the sleeping area except for a small glass partition so taking a shower meant splashing water out onto the surrounding floors. Again, very modern and beautiful, but perhaps too rustic and minimalistic to afford functionality."
