"Pros: Nicely decorated hotel in a quiet area with large rooms and amazing view of the mountain ridge, the sea and the Acropolis. Large and comfortable bed. The service was attentive and helpful and the breakfast very delicious and varied.
Cons: Wifi was unstable at best. Unfortunate as mobile coverage was poor in the area.
The bar charged the highest price we have ever experienced in any country. Unsurprisingly, the hotel became quite empty in the evening as everyone went out for cheaper drinks and food."

"Pros: Chrysanti and Alekos were exeptional hosts always accessible, ready to help and friendly. The day we arrived they both welcomed us as friends and left us a bottle of wine, two bottles of water in the fridge, a bowl of fruit and a lot of biscuits and pastries on the kitchen table for our first breakfast.
Venus Island apartments are not far from Lyndos centre. They are in a very good position, surrounded by a beautiful garden and very near to a small Krana supermarket.
The self-catering apartment was clean, quiet and well-equipped with a washing machine, a shower and air-conditioning. Our hosts changed our bedsheets and towels after the first week and cleaned the apartment too during our stay. I would definitely recommend Venus Islands Apartments for your holidays!"

"Pros: Great location, 10 mins walk to town with lots of pretty roof top restaurants overlooking the acropolis, shops etc and can walk to 2 local beaches. Great pool, good 4 families. Really comfy pool side lounges and great bar/cafe open all day. We liked having a car and travelling around the island."
