"Pros: The rural location – midway between Skopelos town and Stafylos Beach, each just 2 km away, makes for a perfect Skopelos holiday base. We had the upper floor Athina apartment, with its large balcony overlooking fields and olive groves, with pine-forested mountains in the distance. Our hosts, Nikos and his wife Andromache were kindness itself, and had generously filled the apartment’s fridge for us with well-chosen food items, drinks and treats! This set the pattern throughout our stay, with the family’s unobtrusive approach focused entirely on creating the best possible holiday for their guests. The best example being Nikos reprogramming the TV’s Netflix app from Greek to English, just for us! Their little children, Georgios and Spiros were delightful as they played in the pomegranate tree garden; we met their cats and dog, with an entertaining donkey making its presence heard in the adjoining field! The apartment was well-furnished, with an excellent bathroom, kitchen area - and a wonderfully comfortable bed. We were relieved to discover that all windows were fitted with fly screens – so no need for mosquito precautions! We enjoyed a wonderful 2-week stay, would happily recommend the apartments to anyone… and would be delighted to return to Estia on some future holiday!" ~John
