"Pros: The pool and the rural location Cons: The shower over the bath didn’t have a secure wall attachment making a shower difficult. Bathroom was too small, recommend taking bath out and installing a shower cubicle." ~Helen

"Pros: The owner - Despina, is really nice and helpful. We were lucky, that we were the only ones renting - no neighbors :). The house itself is very nice, clean, spacious, have all the necessary utilities (maybe apart from a dishwasher). The pool is quite small, but enough to splash around and cool off on a usually hot, sunny day. The location is a bit far from the city (it's a residential area, no shops), so you need a car - but it's quiet and a bit more cooler than the city center (nice breeze). But it makes as a good base for car trips in central/western Crete. The price was ok for what you are getting. There are cats chilling around and sometimes visit the apartment. Overall, we really enjoyed ourselves there! Cons: Not much to say: maybe the fact that there's a pig farm in the neighboring lot, so you could sometimes hear and smell it a bit ;). Bathroom is more on the smaller side, but nothing to complain about!" ~Michał
