"Pros: This is a large and very well-equipped villa in an excellent location. We loved the pool, the covered outdoor dining area, the well-equipped kitchen and the large, comfortable bedrooms. There are lovely views of the sunset over the Caribbean. Deshaies is a short drive away, and there is a well-stocked convenience store at the garage about 200m away. A great location for exploring the sights of "Death in Paradise" (the UK TV show which is filmed nearby) Cons: The directions to get to the villa need to be clearer - they didn't specify whether the turning was on the left or right (it is about 200m on the left after the roundabout at Grand Anse beach). Having paid over Eu2,700 for our 8-day stay, we were rather surprised at the suggestion on our arrival that we should pay an additional Eu120 for "household expenses" - we refused. Also, given that we had specifically booked a 3-bedroom villa for ourselves and our 2 adult sons, we were a little disappointed that the bed in the 3rd bedroom had not been made up on our arrival." ~David
