"Pros: This place is probably one of my best stays I have ever had. We expected rough conditions in the jungle, but this place has everything or actually much more than you need. The views are incredible! The activities are amazing and well arranged by the lodge (hiking and rafting). The food is the best, and for a very good price! For some reason some reviews talk about high prices, but compared to other places in Central America they are very affordable, especially if you take into account that this place is very secluded in nature. They even have fast WiFi! The best things about the place are definitely the home parrot and the natural swimming pools. You can do some cliff jumping at any moment! Another thing: book the hiking tour with their guide. The tour is not cheap, especially if you see that you can do the hike on your own for a small fee. But this is not the same hike, with the guide we did a much nicer hike with some real jungle experiences and much better views on the waterfall! Could recommend it! Cons: Nothing!" ~Yngwie

"Pros: Gorgeous location in the Cangrejal Valley with a stunning view of El Bejuco waterfall across the valley. The room was private, clean and so comfortable. I enjoyed hiking on the property and in the national park a short walk up the road. Whitewater rafting through the massive boulders of the Cangrejal with parakeets flying above was a thrilling highlight. The rafting staff was professional and informative. I felt well taken care of at the hotel by Walter and Maribel." ~Bruce

"Pros: Beautiful grounds, lovely hosts, and the food was top notch. Location was right near the park entrance, access to the beautiful river, and the chocolate factory. We slept like babies here, was so peaceful." ~Carla
