"Pros: Luis the owner is wonderful. He helped us with several local recommendations and even had a rental car delivered to us. He was always available via WhatsApp for my random questions. Luis has a true customer focus and made our stay great. Cons: The traffic noise was so bad in the downstairs apartments that we couldn't watch TV or have a conversation with the windows open. I never considered myself noise sensitive but it drove us bananas. The noise did slow down at night but ramped back up around 6am. The location is about 15 min walk out of West End on a main road. We made the walk at all times of day and it was safe but you definitely have to watch out for traffic." ~Kara

"Pros: Overall we’d highly recommend this place! - Zuni was a really nice and responsive host. she went out of her way to help us with things - the hammock in an open area with mosquito nets around was great to relax in - all windows had mosquito nets and every room had a ceiling ventilator, which made it very nice - the kitchen was well equipped - beds were comfortable - the house is super nicely and artsy decorated, with art made by Zuni herself. - price-quality was the best we found on the island. Cons: the only thing to be aware of is that it’s a 20 minute walk to West End. In the morning or evening it’s fine (along a big road, but fine), but in the afternoon it’s better to take one of the frequently running colectivos (15L) or taxi (30L), because of the exposure and heat of the road. However, it was the best place we found that was affordable. it’s on the good side of the island (where there’s nice swimming and snorkeling) and the house itself is super peaceful." ~Astrid
