"Pros: This is a comfortable house. But we had great difficulty finding the house as our GPS took us in circles many times. There were three bedrooms available for us to choose from as we were the only guests. Each bedroom had an ensuite. One had a balcony and the other two opened directly into the garden which would probably be nice in summer but not for us in October as the pool is not heated and it was cold and rainy during our stay. The shared living area is cosy and the wood fire would be pleasant in winter though not necessary for our stay. Unfortunately, when we arrived we found that although I had booked two rooms (for two couples) and had a bookings.com record of my booking and payment the property only had a record of one room being booked. Luckily we were able to clear up the misunderstanding but only because I had my booking record and there were no other guests expected for those two nights. Our hostess Erika was charming, good-naturedly conversing with us using Google translate and giving us advice about local activities. She also provided us with a sweet and savory roll and coffee each morning.without her our stay would not have been nearly as pleasant.
