"Pros: We had the pleasure of spending four days at this enchanting little house. The tasteful, retro design made us feel instantly welcome, like a visit to your grandparents. The house was spacious and clean, the beds were comfortable and the kitchen was exceptionally well equipped. In the back there's a beautiful garden to relax or enjoy a campfire. Garden cooking/grilling equipment is available for a small surcharge. The highlight of our stay was of course the guardian of the house, Lidi the cat, who always greeted us at the front door. Communication with our host was seamless and check-in was made simple through a door code and key safe. The area offers a grocery store, a couple bakeries and a restaurant within walking distance. If you like hiking, there's a variety of trails to choose from, all of the ones we've been on were clearly marked and well maintained.
Cons: We can't complain about anything at the house, however the immediate area isn't super interesting, besides the aforementioned hiking trails, so you might have to think about day trips if you wish to explore more. Also, as is unfortunately typical for rural Hungary, some buildings and infrastructure are in a bit of a rough shape." ~Minato13
