"Pros: The host was very welcoming and friendly. We stayed in one of the private rooms which are located on the second floor. It had 3 beds. These are perfect for traveling families . Plenty of towels and wash clothes provided. They even provided tea, coffee machine, juice , yogurt and pastry . The kitchen has everything you would need. The facilities were very clean. The best part is how close to the activities in the area it is. About 10 min from the glacier lagoon and diamond beach. We would recommend to stay here if you are doing any glacial or ice cave activities.
Cons: The only thing was I could not sleep well at all. There is loud noise from the outside when cars pass over these metal rods near the entrance. Walls are very thin. And it was extremely warm inside the place. We tried to open the window to let cool air in but the window didn’t stay open. I was a sweaty miserable mess lol"

Country Hotel Hali has rooms with a private bathroom and a work desk. Dishes based on local produce are offered at the in-house restaurant. A buffet breakfast is served each morning. Packed lunches for day trips can be bought on site. Höfn town centre is 65 km from the hotel. Skaftafell National Park is 70 km away. Thórbergur Cultural Heritage Centre is found on site, as is a souvenir gift shop.
