"Pros: Seclude Kerala, Marari Sands is a peaceful haven once you have arrived at the resort. Just a dozen bungalows, a stone's throw away from a beautiful, clean beach surrounded by lush green. The food was excellent (the best butter chicken I ever had), and the service was outstanding. Nadeem and John did everything to make our short stay perfect. Kerala's famous backwaters are nearby, and the boat trip through the canals was another highlight. Cons: Many crows were in the trees above the sunbeds, which were sometimes noisy and annoying. The resort does not serve alcohol, but you can bring your own." ~Grit
