"Pros: Wonderful location away from the busy part of Kovalam, secluded, with two restaurants on the doorstep (Lobster Pot was great!) and close to the beach with sea views and amazing sunsets. The rooms were basic but clean. Not easy to find and access is a bit difficult, not possible to reach by car - you have to walk up a dirt road and climb a rocky slope - if you’re prepared for this, everything is fine. The staff helped with luggage and engaged a rickshaw to take our stuff to a taxi. A few shops on the beach. Ok for swimming but fishermen take over with their nets every morning. 20-30 mins walk to Kovalam Beach with lots of shops and restaurants.
Cons: Everything was fine once you understand how to get there."
