"Pros: I wanted to spend the last 2 days of my travels throughout India in a typical Portuguese house and this one was truly wonderful. This big family house is set in the countryside and is a good getaway from all the hussle and bussle and enjoy some calm. Situated in between the Old and New Goa, it's a short and easy ride to get to both by cab. The owner David and his wife are very helpful, he can tell a lot about the history of this house, area and India. The rooms are spacious and with lovely antique furnitures and outside verandas to find relaxing time to read a book. It has a swimming pool across the road for a good dip at the end of the day and the restaurant has very good food and lovely staff. Also they have big plans to bring it to an even higher level and most guests are recurring guests which says a lot."
