"Pros: Fatrade is a very quiet place. The beach is a 10-minute walk. Joao, the owner, is very communicative. Whatever we needed, he fixed right away. Even got us a modem because we didn't realise there is no wifi in the appartment. So Joao fixed it. Cons: The A/C didn't work so we used the ceiling fans, which was enough even on hot nights." ~Vladimir

"Pros: This is an apartment building and the closest beach is a 10 mins walk to the Fatrade beach which is next to the Varca beach. The ambience around the place is serene with lots of greenery around. All daily amenities are available at the apartment like air conditioning, electric kettle, microwave, washing machine, refrigerator, TV and a high speed WIFI. The apartment is clean and spacious for a group of 4. The host Dilip is a very responsive gentleman and was kind enough to accommodate us before the scheduled check-in time. We had informed him a day prior that we would be arriving early. A security was available 24 hours at the gated community. Overall, it would be a decent recommendation from me to my family and friends. Cons: 1. Book a self drive car or bike as there is not much to do nearby except visiting the beach and the shacks. 2. The pillows were unclean, however linens were changed and pillows replaced upon informing. 3. No lift service available, so try and book on the lower floors. Ours was 2nd floor so had no issues 4. The walk from stay to the beach is a straight lane. Avoid using it very late if you are a solo traveler or a couple as the street is very isolated. Just to inform, nothing untoward happened to us." ~Talukdar
