"Pros: Nice bungalow with a view of the sea and lovely outdoor area! The host was really nice and accommodating (she brought breakfast up to us!). The rooms are very spacious and have storage space. Cons: We had quite a few cockroaches in the bathroom. The Indonesian style roof means the bathroom is not sealed so they get in from there. Common in the area though." ~Daisy

"Pros: We had a lovely room with an undercover balcony and attached was another huge balcony with two reclining deck chairs and a big umbrella with the most amazing sea views. We spent a lot of time watching all the fishing boats coming and going from these deck chairs. Sunrises were very special to watch coming up over Lombok. The family that run the business (Wayan & Ketut, their Son Deo & the two staff Kadek & Kadek) were super friendly and helpful for anything we needed including renting motorbikes at a reasonable price and taking care of our laundry. We ate dinner most nights in their warung and the meals were always delicious and well priced. It’s a short walk to the beach and other close by restaurants and the mini mart was about a leisurely 10 minute walk away. The staff that worked there were really friendly and we enjoyed getting to know them. The hot water always worked and the WIFI was excellent. The accommodation is great value for money. Cons: The stairs to the room (but I am not fit and very chubby) and stairs and awesome views do go together!!!" ~Annette

"Pros: We stayed for seven nights in February in an ocean view room by the pool. We loved the casual vibe, super helpful staff, and good food at Bali Dream House. The breakfast that we had served in our room was excellent each morning. Lunch and dinner options were all good and of sufficient variety to keep us more than happy for a week (we did usually eat lunch elsewhere in Amed). The staff arranged airport pickup for us and transfer to Pemuteran on departure. The car and driver were excellent. The off-season weather was of course a little hit-and-miss for snorkeling, but there is good coral and plenty of small fish right off the property’s beach. The mosquito net on the bed was in perfect condition (not always the case in our experience in the tropics). Cons: The bed slats are a little creaky. The toilet is outside in the shower area rather than inside with the sink." ~Frederick
