"Pros: This is the place to stay in Bali - its a bit out of Lovina but this is sooooo worth it. You get a huge garden around a wonderful pool and a very awesome local house with a view to the garden, to the ricefield, to the sea, ... just WOW. It all looked like the pictures, just better. ILuh always provided us a local freshly made and healthy breakfast, it was sooo nice chatting with her and we even did a cooking class which was so much fun and so delicious. It is easy to rent a scooter and it is quite fun to ride around in the surrounding hillside. We really miss the cat Putek which joined us daily and was really handsome. Keep in mind that you are in Bali and you will live in a wonderful village area, and yes: animals are everwhere but they are nice and friendly companions: geckos, butterflys, some ants, ... but this is nature isn't it? Be kind and they are kind. <3 We miss you Lafyu <3 <3 and wish you all the best.

Cute Eco Cottage Near 7 Waterfalls

"Pros: It's a small cottage with very nice porch and garden. If you are looking a place to rest and wind-down, you found it. Nearby rice fields, hills and waterfalls. Hostess cooks very well.
Cons: I was afraid all the bugs (mosquitos, ants etc.) but actually it was better than I expected. They are there (like anywhere else in Bali) especially in the evenings but not in the cottage."
