"Pros: The location is superb, absolute beachfront, but the bungalows are 50-60 meters back in a coconut plantation, with tethered cows grazing, very country Bali.
Breakfast of pancakes was OK.
I stayed here on a nostalgia trip, having first stayed at Ida's 40+ years ago. Not much has changed, still a rustic place, which has a lot of appeal.
WiFi was good, fast and reliable.
Ida's is budget accommodation.
Cons: Probably nothing. Much of the appeal is that it goes back 40 years, rustic, local architecture, with a true mandi, buckets of hot and cold water to tip over one's self.
Aircon would be good, but I knew it didn't have aircon, so that isn't a negative." ~Ross
"Pros: The location is perfect. It's so near with a lot of restaurant and the cafe itself is great. The beach is also walkable. The accomodation is right in the front of ocean. It's really nice waking up with the sound of waves and bird chirping. The staffs are also nice and helpful
Cons: My room is a bit dirty. I have sensitive skin and slight alergy to dust so when something is dirty, I'll know right away because I'll get itchy. And the moment I enter the room, I felt itchy. There are also some bugs but from my experience staying at Bali and close to nature, there's always a chance bug will come to the room" ~Nadia
"Pros: Location, pool area & breakfast outlook.
Cons: Had to change rooms due to faulty air conditioner. However, this was no problem for the reception. Experienced one poor quality dish on the menu, otherwise food was good. Breakfast was very good." ~Catherine
