Cons: The rooms smelt of damp and the wallpaper was coming away from the walls. The restaurant wasn’t open and it’s in the middle of nowhere making it had to find food and drink."

"Pros: Breakfast was ok.
Cons: I am genuinely sorry to have to write this experience during our stay because we felt the receptionist really care about the guests and he honestly apologized. But the facts are what they are. We had room 1, this room (don't know about the others)is elevated and has a broken floor, the wooden panels are loose, totally full of gaps and does not even feels safe to walk around. Anyway, this was not a big issue for us.... until the property decided to incinerate garbage right under the room (or 5 meters away the room with the wind blowing on the room's direction). We were taking a nap before heading to Bromo sunrise tour and we had to leave the room due to the extremely toxic smoke coming directly into the room. We had irritated throat and eyes for the whole day and our room smell was disgusting, including all our belongings, this really affected our Bromo sunrise experience. I am not exaggerating, impossible to rest on such disgusting environment. We booked two nights here and we left after the first night."
