"Pros: The host was very nice. Cons: The worst part about this hotel was the upkeep. It looked like it had not been thoroughly cleaned, well, ever... There were weird stains on the bed and towels that were as large as 3 inches in diameter, hairs on the bed, massive cobwebs above the bed, a dead cockroach in the bathroom, stains on the walls and curtains, and plenty more. I have photo proof of everything as well. We slept on top of the covers fully clothed, scared of what kind of bugs might get to us in our sleep, especially because my worst fear is cockroaches and I did not like that there was a dead one in the bathroom. It was also not equipped with any important amenities such as shampoo or soap. I had a two night reservation for this place, but we ended up turning in the keys and only staying one night. Aside from the uncleanliness, the house is also difficult for a car to get to because you have to drive on narrow or dirt roads to get to the entrance. Our family was staying at a villa nearby and we had to walk there from this house, and during our walk, plenty of stray dogs (small to medium size) walked up to us which made my girlfriend and I very uncomfortable because they were barking too. Overall, the host was fine, and it would not have been a bad stay if it was cleaned up and inspected thoroughly by their housekeeping service. But I could not recommend staying here as I think there are plenty more better options in Bali." ~Daniel
