"Pros: Kanda Homestay is a tiny private accomodation which is run by Jack an his whole family. There are 3 rooms with fan in total to accomodate up to 6 guests. It is really quiet and relaxing there and a lot of plants around. There are also living 2 dogs and 6 cats in the homestay. They are vaccinated and in good condition and sometimes come on your terrace to play or getting a cuddle. Since the homestay is so small the contact to the family is really close and you can learn a lot about life of balinese people, hinduism and the sidemen area. Therefore, we went on a tour through the ricefields with Jack which ended up with a balinese lunch at his sister‘s house. We really enjoyed that soo much. Also, Jack has really good connections and organized several tours and transportation for us for a good price. You can also rent a scooter or do your laundry at the homestay. Thank you very much again for this really good time at your homestay! Cons: Do not book Kanda Homestay if you don‘t like cats and dogs or if you don‘t like to have contact to local people.
