"Pros: The entire staff from management to kitchen staff was very kind, helpful and funny. Despite bad weather during our stay, the staff made everything possible to make our stay enjoyable. The food was some of the best we had during our trip through Lombok! Cons: The "Eco" seems to be pure marketing. The beach infront of the hotel is cleaned daily but only 100 meters down the beach you feel like walking through a public garbage dump (important note: much of the plastic is exported here from europe). Also important to note, that most of the plastic was definitely sitting there for more than two months. I proposed to organize a beach cleanup but with some help of the many staff. This idea was disregarded, because the staff had other tasks. However, we saw some clean the hotel beach and then been send home. Alsonit was said "not our responsibility". In summary, with these rates for rooms and the eco claim, there must be more effort and ressource to at least keep this little island clean. Else one must assume, the owner is using the claim for pure self enriching and out of capitalist consideration." ~Arne
