"Pros: Edo Homestay is a quality spot in a beautiful area. You feel like you’re at the centre of things in Gerupuk, largely as a result of the fact that many of the boats leaving for the surf breaks takeoff from outside the homestay. The room is clean and comfortable with a beautiful balcony area that is undoubtedly the accommodations crown jewel. Key to the place’s magic is not in the comfort of the room however. The staff at the restaurant/homestay are generous with their time and are truly kind souls. It’s a wonderful place to be, containing so much life. I would highly recommend Edo Homestay. "Pros: Loved the homestay feel meeting the family, -yummy- breakfast included. This turned out to be an affordable option for in Gerupuk. I was able to rent a scooter and go to Tanjun An and Kuta. The pool was nice to relax next to/ take a dip. Thank you :) Cons: Just the room felt a bit closed in with no window the the west and no window or mirror in the bathroom (but windows to the east / courtyard)" ~Kristina
