"Pros: I have been to Bali many times and this was definitely one of the top places I have stayed. The setting is amazing, beautiful garden, great seating area overlooking the small pool and river. The kitchen is well stocked with all the utensils you need to do your own cooking. A five minute walk takes you into Desa Tua where you can buy fresh fruit, vegetables, eggs, tofu and tempe. There is also a mini mart with any other supplies you need. The bedroom/living area is very comfortable and the bathroom is big and clean. The owners have done all they can to make your stay comfortable - things like a small first aid kit, a speaker you can connect your phone to, scissors, a torch - they have thought of almost everything. Wayan is a friendly host and can organise a motorbike - there a few beautiful waterfalls in the area - and can help you with onward transport. The place offers a peacefulness that is getting harder and harder to fins in Bali. Cons: Nothing! But be aware that to explore the area, you will need to hire a motorbike. Or you could just spend a few days relaxing and taking a casual stroll into the village.!" ~Dai0268
